While we all know real estate is a competitive business, please keep in mind the following Code of Ethics:
Article 15. No Disparaging Competitors – Don’t make false or misleading statements.
Article 16. No Interference in Agency/Client Relationship of another REALTOR®.
Remember the “Golden Rule” – Treat others how you would like to be treated.
Also, be sure to disclose in the MLS when listings have a security system in place such as a Ring Doorbell or Nanny Cam. Sellers are advised in the listing agreement to post notice of surveillance but remember that even if you don’t see a notice there may still be someone watching and listening. Keep that in mind when having discussions with clients and colleagues while showing or previewing a property.
