C.A.R. kicked off its annual consumer advertising campaign, promoting the value of using a REALTOR® with the tagline “Who’s your REALTOR®?” in a series of hip, fresh advertisements. Now in its second year, the campaign focuses on how California REALTORS® are drivers of economic growth within the state. The commercials also emphasize the benefits of working with REALTORS®. C.A.R. has partnered with NBC, hosting commercials exclusively on the network and on select properties, including HGTV. Other media outlets, such as Hulu and Curbed, are also hosting digital components of the campaign.
This year, C.A.R. has also enlisted the help of host, author, and REALTOR® Egypt Sherrod – most recognized as the host of HGTV’s Property Virgins – to present a series of video vignettes walking first-time home buyers through the process from start to finish. This week C.A.R. also launched a special set of emojis, called CARmojis, for members’ use. This is a real-estate centric emoji keyboard designed for your smartphone and will host emojis such as a Super REALTOR® to denote your superhero status, a “Sold” sign, an “Open House” sign, a fireplace, house keys, a pool, and many more. When you download the CARmojis tool to your smartphone, you’ll also have access to digital stickers. These “stickers” are images that can be placed on a digital photo for you to share. The stickers include the popular “Who’s Your REALTOR®” messaging, as well as “Champions of Home.”
