The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (“Cal/OSHA”) has made revisions to its COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards (“ETS”). The new revisions have been incorporated into the document and are effective from May 6, 2022 – December 31, 2022. It is important to note that under the new ETS, employee vaccination status is no longer a factor. All employee protections now apply regardless of vaccination status, and the employer’s requirements do not vary based on an employee’s vaccination status.
