The Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors® and the Tahoe Sierra Multiple Listing Service are actively searching for a new building to call home. Although we can all agree that Squaw Valley has been the best geographically accessible location for the membership, it does not hold promise for long term stability.
A Facilities Committee has been formed to navigate this project. Members include Kane Schaller, Sam Drury, Brett Williams, Mike Lombardi, Bill Leeder and Sue Ruane. We are dedicated to finding the best, longest term solution for the Board.
The Committee is looking at properties to purchase, lease or build located in the core area of Tahoe City to Kings Beach – Kings Beach to Truckee – Truckee to Tahoe City. Criteria are as follows: 2500-3000 SF, 16+ parking spaces, under $900,000 if the decision to purchase is the elected option. It is conceivable that with a purchase option,we should be able to purchase and keep the monthly costs for debt service no more than what they are now for rent.
All properties listed in the MLS that fit the above criteria have been vetted by the Committee. In due diligence, the Committee would now like to consider any properties that are not listed in the MLS.
