- Home prices have risen in the second quarter of the year in most metro areas across the country, especially California, according to the latest quarterly report from the National Association of REALTORS®.
- Four of the top five most expensive housing markets for single family homes can be found in Golden State metro areas: San Jose, San Francisco, Anaheim-Santa Ana, and San Diego.
- San Jose is at the top of the report’s most expensive markets, as the median price for an existing single-family home there is $980,000. San Francisco came in second at $841,000.
