- Home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased 5.7 percent in January 2015 compared with January 2014, according to CoreLogic’s Home Price Index (HPI®).
- This change represents 35 months of consecutive year-over-year increases in home prices nationally. On a month-over-month basis, home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased 1.1 percent in January 2015 compared with December 2014.
- The CoreLogic HPI Forecast indicates that home prices, including distressed sales, are projected to increase 0.4 percent month over month from January 2015 to February 2015 and, on a year-over-year basis, by 5.3 percent from January 2015 to January 2016.
