On April 27, C.A.R.’s Legislative Day will be live and in person in Sacramento for the first time since 2019. As housing continues to drives the cost of living in the state, a key focus of this year’s event will be lobbying state legislators to increase homeownership opportunities. More than 2,000 REALTORS® are expected to attend.

Legislative Day continues to be C.A.R.’s preeminent advocacy event. Legislative Day gives California REALTORS® the opportunity to meet and discuss real estate issues directly with their state legislators and staff, urging the legislature to support creating opportunities for homeownership and to defeat bills that would impose unfair taxes and make homeownership even more expensive for working Californians.

While attendance at Legislative Day is free for all California REALTORS®, first time attendees are eligible for a Legislative Day scholarship to help cover travel expenses. To apply, inquire with your local association.

To attend, email sue@tahoemls.com. If you have questions, please contact legislativeday@car.org.
