The Resort Triangle Transportation Plan is a regional effort to make traveling around North Lake Tahoe easier. The Placer County Resort Triangle Transportation Plan focuses on North Lake Tahoe’s three main transportation corridors: State Routes 28, 89, and 267, as well as adjacent communities. The study identifies strategies to improve mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and provide connections for non-motorized travel choices such as walking and biking in the area.
