C.A.R. will soon be enabling a membership verification feature for zipForm® 6 Standard (desktop) to ensure that only active REALTORS® are using the program. Beginning Tuesday, June 19th, users will be required to connect to the internet once every 90 days to verify membership status.
Users who have not connected to the internet after 45 days will recieve a pop-up message upon log in reminding them to connect to the internet. This pop-up message will consistently appear until the ninetieth day of the cycle unless a user connects to the internet. Access to the program will be terminated if connection has not been made by the ninetieth day of the cycle. Establish an internet connection early to avoid the pop-up message reminders.
Once an internet connection is made, membership verification is completed behind the scenes. No action is needed by the user. Be aware that this membership verification will take place every 90 days.
Members who use zipForm® 6 Professional (online version) are verified each time they log in through www.car.org, and need not worry about this notification.
